No - Windows 2000 and XP do NOT have support for distinctive ring. No
drivers support it because it can't be supported. The workaround may
be a CommSwitch.
Read the posts in this forum. A solution was found by a Kyle for US
Robotics Modems, and another solution was found that work for some
other modems. It requires doing a little registry modification and an
initialization string change done in device manager.
