XP Display - 1680x1050

I was playing Pinball in fullscreen and when I exited the program, my display
was on an extremely low resolution. I rebooted but it was the same, and I
was asked if I wanted to change it, which I did. It changed it to a size
that does not account for my widescreen, leaving black spaces on either side.
I went into Properties and changed it to 1680x1050, which fills my screen
but everything is much smaller than it was before and I can't get it back to
the original display. Is there a way to return to the default display
settings? I also tried to change the "font size" in properties, but this
isn't what I'm looking for. I'm using a Dell Inspiron 6000 with Windows XP
Home.

FIXED!

I called tech support and they helped me out. I used the System Restore
feature (Start->Programs->Accessories->System Tools->System Restore) and
restored it to yesterday's state. It then rebooted and was perfect again.
