XP Desktop Calendar

I'm looking for a small calendar to place on my Windows XP desktop. I don't
want it to take up the entire desktop, just a small portion. Does anyone
know of a freeware download site for such a calendar? Naturally, the
download site must be perfectly safe. Thanks.

John, thanks for the info. One question about Google Desktop before I
install it: what happens to my current desktop with all the shortcut and
program items currently on it? Do I lose all those? Thanks.

You may try Rainlendar. It's a great light weight desktop calendar. And
an alternative is our product, PlainSight Desktop Calendar, if you use
Outlook to schedule or want to get local weather, though it is a
shareware.
