XP compatability with nvidia driver

I`m having problems getting the latest NVIDIA driver to
work with XP.IT keeps blue screening, but I cant run a
game (Medal of Honour) with my existing NVIDIA driver,

any suggestions ??

Any nVidia driver past the WHQL 45.23 version may be buggy. If you are
using any 5x.xx drivers then they may still be considered a BETA drivers, to
be used as your own risk.

Remove your drivers and re-install the ones that worked for you.

Hey, I had a similar problem w\ XP, Nvidia drivers and
Nascar 2k3. I am not in front of my home computer at the
moment so I cant tell you what Nvidia driver set worked
for me. However, I just dl'd several older Nvidia driver
packs and installed and uninstalled them until I got one
that would work. I know that's not pinpointing a fix for
you but that's how I got mine going and have had np's
since with any other app's or games.

Compatibility, even with the WHQL depends to some extent on your actual
card. They work fine with cards released in the past couple of years but I
have noticed some of the older cards e.g. GeForce2 don't like some of the
new driver features and can lead to problems. If your card is fairly old it
may be worth trying some of the older WHQL releases.

I installed the latest dirves from WINDOW's Update, and it completely
screwed up my monitor display. Fall-back to the previous driver
didn't work, so I had to get out my installation CD and do a complete
re-installation for the NVIDIA card.
