XP closes and reboots after 3 secs

Okay, i get past the login screen, and get in to windows for 3 sec, when the
power just seems to go, and it reboots.
Found another post, with similer symtons, and did as they said.

Turned off the automatic restart option under

This computer/Propities/advanced<

And, then got the error message that it seemed to be "Vdmt16.sys" that was
the problem.
Anyone know what this it?

it found a load of viuses which Pc-chillen, AVG, ad-awere couldn't finde
and seemed to have solved the problem.

Herhe, okay, now evrytime i loade, i get a command box, which is trying to
run "mszx23.exe" but cant.
Anyone know what it is?

Quite a few people have experienced this overall scenario, Matt. I had to
work on a friend's computer with it. If you have what the other computers
have, it's one version of the Sasser worm. You should use the tools
specifically for that worm to remove it, and then follow the directions for
restoring you system. You can get instructions at several places on the
