xp clean re-install. info please,all idea's welcome.

Going to try this as a last attempt.
(The problem.) I am unable to logon as any other user bar
myself.When i try it starts of as normal saying loading
settings,but then goes haywire by refreshing the screen
and acting like u have logged off saying saving settings
and returning to the welcome screen.
I have done all the basic's like system restore,Deleting
the accounts and recreating them but to no prevail.
Please could you give me some idea's on fixing the
problem,If i need to reinstall windows i could do with
some pointers on that as i have no windows disc's,i am
told that my backup of windows is stored on my hardrive.
so would need to know how to remove then re-install if
possible.

W/O the xp cd in one way you really dont have a full version of xp,its
mfgs fault,xp need to boot to cd for all xp functions to operate.About the onl
thing you can do with a corrupted user account is to create a new one,add your
middle initial to it or something,or purchase a xp cd and/or take the issue u
with the mfg of the computer,ask them how does one install the xp tools tha
come with and can only be installed via the xp cd.
