XP CD Writer problem

When I'm trying to write a CDR or CDRW using the CD writing wizard or Windows
Media Player, after an apparently successful write, the disk is completely
empty. Can anyone help?

Sorry, this article doesn't help. I think the problem may have something to
do with how windows writes CDs
