XP CD ROM

Okay, i just reinstalled XP with the same CD as i usually
use, and now i have no CD drive. When i go into my computer
there is only drive E drive C and floppy drive A, there is
no CD drive. When i place a CD into the disc drive it
lights up but wont work, and since i have no CD drive to
click on, i cant get a CD to work. Now i cant even try to
reinstal my XP again. What can i do? Where can i get that
CD drive? Please help.

Check to ensure that no other devices such as Zip drives
etc are using the drive letter that the CD wants. You
can go into Disk Management and it will tell you what
letter your CD wants. If you do have any other devices
try changing the letter to something different like z:
and then reboot.
