XP can't logon to Win2003 Server

For some reason, after my XP Professional computer logs on
to a Windows 2003 Server Domain, it loses its connection
after some time. I noticed when I come back a day later,
I can't access a drive that I could access the day before.
And when I try to login at the popup, I get an error
indicating that I'm unable to logon to a domain controller.
The only thing I can do to log back in is reboot my XP box.

Event logs say anything?
Any reason you're staying logged in all the time instead of logging out when
done for the day? Is there a policy setting to disconnect users after a
certain period of idle time?
