XP- cannot access Internet via network

K

Keith Rosenfeld

I have a network with DSL feed - use WatchGuard SOHO
firewall, SBS2000 Server (no ISA), & 8 workstations with
W2k and XP, mixed. All was great until I upgraded one
box to XP Pro, SP1, tonight.

I can see everything on my LAN, connectivity and
performance are great, and I can ping internally, but no
Internet access from that workstation and it can't ping
externally.

My ICF is definitely off and my IE Tools-Options settings
are good. I have set my NIC for a static address and
DHCP - no difference.

Any ideas?

HI
Had paralel problem as you, still waiting for a good answer, the only one i
got was to change my NIC, alternative i have as you say to nuke it and
reinstall, by experience that will take me a week to get system as before,
not so nice, but thats the beauty of pc and microsoft ;-(
