Hi,
I have a huge issue with several PC on my IT asset: since several month, it
takes more than 10 minutes to boot. Specially after the CTRL+Alt+dell. The
hard disk works a lot, but I'm not able to identify what is the problem.
I did a defrag, it changed nothing.
The PC are running XP SP1, Norton antivirus, altiris client.

Thanks for your help
Regards
Gilles

Hi José,
thanks for your answer, unfortunately it didn't solve my problem. Although
it found some tracking cookies, it didn't speed up my boot process.

Try this now. Start>Run and type in without the quotes "msconfig". Go to "Startup" tab and uncheck all the entries. Note that this will disable your antivirus and your firewall if you use a third-party one. Now reboot.
