XP Boot Problem

After properly shutting down XP, it will no longer boot. I
keep getting the message, "Autochk no found. Auto Check
shutting down". The system then start a rebooting cycle. I
can not start at the last known good configuration, safe
mode, DOS, etc. Each time the same message appears and the
rebooting cycle continous. What can I so to resolve the
problem?

Yes. Afer rebooting the same problem occurs.
