XP bluetooth driver not compatible ?

Hi
I have windows xp sp2 installed and I have the sp2 bluetooth driver working
fabulously. It works with my phone for dialup, it works with my bt mouse. IT
does not however work with my pda. I'm trying to setup a com port as
incoming.
I have setup erased, resetup erased several times the connections available.
I have set up com port 9 and com port 8 as incoming. If I open bluetooth
settings Com8 and Com9 are listed as Incoming, the names are empty though.
When I try to use my pda to look for services available on my laptop, no
services list...
Anyone know how to fix this?
Thank you so much

I have the toshiba m200 with integrated bluetooth.

My suggestion would be to use the driver you were using before that had
all of the devices working properly. I have found BlueTooth to be quite
difficult to set up properly with my phone, keyboard and mouse, and PDA.
It took me about three hours to finally get it. I ended up doing a
clean install. Install the BT dongle, then the keyboard/mouse, then the
PDA, then the phone. Finally, after doing this twice, it worked! I
think part of the problem is that BlueTooth is still a new standard that
is still immature with its drivers and support.

Hopefully we will see these difficulties begin to disappear as newer
drivers and software to control BT devices are released :)

Why you do not use the Bluetooth software which Toshiba offers for
their
notebooks ?

Setup of keyboard or a mouse is quite easy. For more
difficult things like PDA synchonization are Howtos available. Just
take
a look at the following webpage:

The release notes of the next Bluetooth version shows that also things
like
GPRS settings of a mobile phone will be auto-detected. Setup of a DUN
connection is then also very simple.
