I just set up a new XP workstation on the network. It is
now advertizing itself as a Master Browser. I found 3
instances of :IsDomainMaster" in the registry, all were
set to false. Is there something I'm missing?

Thanks.

To prevent XP from becoming the Master Browser, disable the Computer
Browser service:

1. Right click My Computer, and click Manage.
2. Double click Services and Applications.
3. Double click Services.
4. Double click Computer Browser. If the Service status is Started,
click Stop.
5. Set the Startup type to Disabled.
