Hi,

Have been using XP Pro with MSTS (Train Simulator) on one PC for some
while........heard tales that Service Pack 2 and MSTS don't like each
other, so avoided loading it (tho don't know by now how much I have
inherited piecemeal via updates), anyway, MSTS works fully.

Now have new PC, supplied with XP Pro at SP2 status....apart from that
all same software...........and find MSTS will minimise OK but not
maximise again...........try to maximise and it refers you to Bill for
a chat.............

Due to the way it's operated by me while doing 3D model development and
flicking between several progs inc MSTS, that's an ISSUE!!

Alt Tab works....but maximise via mouse....... and
boom.............Send/Don't Send to Bill.

Anybody found a workround to allow normal action minimise/maximise to
work under SP2 status XP????

Dave

Thanks for links.

I'm already a member of two MSTS forums, and so know others have
similar problems with minimise/maximise under XP after SP2........

Thought I'd try a computer group approach instead of MSTS based forums,
where so far I have not turned anything specific up that helps. Still
hoping there is a fix/workround somewhere............

I have got another couple of minor but stated as Windows XP suitable
progs (utilities) which also don't Min/Max now, so it's not solely an
MSTS issue, it seems, but that's the major piece of software affected,
hence my post.................equally, not all progs
fail.....................
