XP and ME

I have been running a mirrored raid with XP and it works fine. I wanted to
have a separate hard drive that I could plug in that had ME on it. I
removed the data cables from the raid to the mother board and reconfigured
the BIOS to First Boot Floppy, Second Boot CD Rom, third boot HDD 0 and
disabled the raid. To my surprise the computer would not boot from the
floppy or CD and I suppose could not boot from the Hard Drive because there
is no OS there. I got an error message NTLDR missing. Can anyone tell me
what is happening?

Howard did you reconnect the hard drive with the OS on it to a Primary
or Secondary IDE channel?
