I'm sorry that happened to you.
At this point you will probably need to call Microsoft to manually
re-activate your Windows XP product. Fortunately toll-free telephone
numbers are available in all countries. The telephone numbers to call are
displayed in the activation screen when 'Telephone Activation' is chosen.
