XP acting strange

I have Windows XP professional and it's acting a bit
weird. If I stay on my PC for, say, about 3 or 4 hours,
my user settings just disappear. My inbox disappears, my
internet history disappears, my cookies disappear(good
and bad), many stuff just resets to the original state.
Now, when I reboot, it's back to normal. This will
repeat if I stay on for 3 or 4 hours. Any ideas? This
is really weird. Please e-mail me if possible. I would
greatly appreciate it.
