Hi I am having a problem with the color on my computer especially web pages.
The reply and send are nonexistant visually but if I hunt most times I can
find it. My emails' color is missing. I went to Color, System, and all that I
can think of in Control Panel.....now I am at a loss what to do. Would
reinstalling 6 be my answer?

Did the problem happen all of a sudden , or over a period of time ?

All of a sudden my web pages left off allot of the colors. I have XP Service
Pack 2 and one day wahm. I have resorted to trying all I can try down to
using my AV Scan & deleting files. Where was blue is only lines and where the
reply/send button was or is remains a mistry to me. Half the time I hit
cancel and have to retype it.

Have you tried a system restore to the day before it happened ?

Assuming that it's everywhere, not just on web pages, I would suspect
one of the following:

1. Your monitor
2. Your video card
3. The cable connecting the two.

The first thing to try, because it's easiest, is making sure that the
cable connection is securely tightened. If that doesn't fix it, borrow
a friend's monitor and try it in place of yours. If that fixes it,
replace you monitor. If it doesn't fix it, you probably need a new
video card.
