Xoftspy - A ripoff!!!!!

DO NOT USE THIS PROGRAM!!! When you download the free version and scan
your computer it comes up with several items. When you try to remove
it says you have to register it. For that you must purchase the
program for $29.95. Funny thing was I had just scanned my computer
with Ad-aware before and it found nada. I searched my computer
following the exact paths in Xoftspy and the supposed spyware did not
exist on my computer at all. It was giving phony and misleading
results just to get you to buy their software. What a ripoff.

There are several "trickware" programs like that out there. Stick to the
known reliable ones such as Spybot Search & Destroy and Ad-aware.

some paid spyware removers that are scum can install
spyware. they usually show up as a popup saying you have
spyware.
