XML problem in ie6 sp1

Hi,
I have saved a msword document in xml and viewed it correctly in ie6 sp2
under winxp. The formatting looked like the original msword document. So
far so good.
Then under ie6 sp1 win98 the xml document appeared as plain xml text, not as
a nicely formatted document. I installed already Microsoft XML Parser
(MSXML) 3.0 Service Pack 5 (SP5) after Windows Installer 2.0. But I still
have problems, i can still not show xml files/pages in a properly formatted
way. I always see the plain xml text.
How can I make ie6 sp1 under win98 show the xml documents properly formatted??
thanks in advance, johan

Hi Jon,
I ran regsvr32 msxml.dll but that does not change a thing. The problem
persists. The xml file (from msword) does not show correctly formatted in
the ie, what i still see is just plain xml text and coding.
I do NOT have or ever had Netscape on my computer.
Any other suggestions?
Do you know any other freeware xml viewer which shows the xml file correctly
formatted as it would normally look in a webpage?
thanks, johan
