XML No longer working

Hi,

I've got Windows XP and I'm running IE6, and for some reaseon, I can no
longer look at .XML files.

When I used to navigate to them, they would open in IE with the XML listed
in the Browser, so that I could click and look at it.

Now, it has gone from trying to open up in RealPlayer, to asking me to save
it as a .smi file on my hard drive.

I don't know what's happened !!

Any thoughts ?

You probably installed a program that associates the XML suffix with
it. You can re-assign it by going to My Computer folder, clicking on
Tools, and Folder options. Click on file types, look for XML. Click
on it and delete it.

Next, double click a file with the .XML suffix and specify that it
should always be opened with IE to establish a new default.

Thanks for the advice.

I've tried that, but it still appears to not be working.

If I try and navigate to the file on my site, it tries to download the file
as a .SMI.
