XMAS PRESENT

I recieved a Belkin ADSL wireless modem /router for xmas.
I hve until now used an ADSL modem that was supplied by my Internet
provider.
Following all the instructions I tried to get onto the internet using the
Belkin product and failed so I plugged the old modem back in (usb), and left
the Belkin modem plugged in, (network card) and tried to get the setup
information etc for the belkin unit without any luck.
I have now tried removing the old one from the system altogether, resetting
every setting in sight, praying to the god of computers and I am still not
getting any where. three days now and I haven't eaten.
Has anyone any suggestions?

Go and eat. Then get some sleep, forget about the silly wireless modem
for a day or two. When you come back refreshed the problem might be so
small that you just missed it because you tried to hard. I'm serious,
getting a burnout working on a stupid pc is not worth it, take a break!

When you are well rested look here for starters:
http://web.belkin.com/support/

There is a toll free number there, don't be afraid to call them, you
might be on hold for a while but they will do their best to help you
sort things out.
