How can I fix the volume control on my XM Radio Player? It stopped working
several weeks ago for some reason. I'm a subscriber of XM Radio so I listen
to it on my PC running WinXP. At the top of the window in the blue border
is printed "XM Radio Online-The Player-Windows Internet Explorer" (w/o the
quotes) I think it's part of Windows Media Player but don't know how to fix
the volume control unless I reinstall Windows. UGH! My speaker volume
works fine. TIA.

Double click the speaker icon in the tray and adjust the "Wave"
volume control.

John, I hate to tell you, but I have no speaker icon in the tray. None is
listed in the Task Bar and Start Menu properties, either.

Go to the control panel and look for the "Sounds and Audio Devices" icon and
click on it and look for the checkmark to "Place volume icon in the
taskbar". Then you can do what John told you to do. Good luck.

Open the Control Panel.
Open "Sounds and Audio Devices" applet.
On the General Tab, make sure there is a checkmark in the box next to "Place
volume icon in the Taskbar"

Good luck,
