XL issue

Hi All,

When I open any excel file by double clicking on it, it doesn't open.
I have to go to file menu and then select open and specify the full path
of the file then only it opens.
I don't know if there's any option to do this setting.
Can anyone help me out in this?

Shift-Right Click such a file.
Choose 'open with'.
Select or browse to Excel.exe and choose it.
Check the box to always use this program.

You didn't get me.
What I was trying to say is when I open an excel sheet the Excel application
opens but the file contents are not displayed. I have to go to fle menu -
open - and select the file which I want to open from the browser. This is the
case for all excel files.
