Xerox Phaser Solid Ink Sticks

John

Has anyone got any experience of using compatible solid ink in their
Phaser before? I have just recently bought a phaser 8500 and the cost
of buying xerox branded ink seem sway too high in my opinion.

I have been recomended using www.coloursticks.com by a friend who is
more than happy with the ink sticks he bought. After looking at their
site I feel a bit reassured that I am not going to buy crap products
and they offer a good warranty and even a try before you buy which I
have just sent off for.

Are their any other sites out their I shloud be looking at?

Thanks

Under the premise that everyone knows how to use Google, I must say that
your posting is purely to advertise the web site you referred to.

If not, then you don't know how to use Google--which is impossible. If
you know how to find a newsgroup, you know how to do a Google search.

Ergo, you probably hate that I just told the world where to find Phaser
8500 compatible ink. (oops--I just gave away the magic Google search
phrase...)

UPDATE: you just posted the same message, separately, to comp.sys.xerox.

Thanks for playing, but you've been outed.

I have been recomended using www.(spamname).com by a friend who is
more than happy with the ink sticks he bought.

And after checking out whois, it seems that the web site you named has
the following information:

Registrant:
CHOCICE digital
74a New Century Road
Laindon
Basildon, Essex SS15 6AQ
UK

Domain name: <spamname withheld)

Administrative contact:
Beach, John (e-mail address removed)
<same address as above)
01268491918

Registrar of record: TUCOWS, INC
Record last updated on 03-May-2006
Record expires on 23-Nov-2007
Record created on 23-Nov-2005

Business is bad, so you decided to spam the newsgroups and make it look
like you're an innocent consumer whose "friend" sent you to this place?

I suggest everyone give John at CHOCICE Digital (John Beach?) a call, or
drop him a note. Be sure to ask VERY detailed questions, and go back if
you're not completely sure of the answers.

Thanks Elmo,

I think you did a great service to the usenet community here by taking
the time to research this guy.

I'd go one step further, and suggest someone who is so desperate as to
need to fake a recommendation probably can't generate a real one. Buyer
beware!
