Xerox M950 multifunction

Hi,

Anyone out there how to install M950 back to XP Pro? I
have tried lots of drivers and methods but still not able
to get the printer working. XP Pro managed to detect the
hardware but there was no communication between the
pronter and PC!! Can anyone help?? PLEASE??!!!!

Uninstall the printer correctly first:

The updated drivers are at the Xerox website at:
http://www.support.xerox.com/go/results.asp?prodID=M950&Xlang=en_US&Xcntry=USA

Install them BEFORE connecting the printer.

Hi Cari,

I have tried exactly what you have told me but still no
communication between the printer and PC (even XP Pro
detected the hardware!). Help PLEASE........

Have you tried a different cable? If this is a parallel port printer,
ensure the LPT setting is EPP in the BIOS.

Hi Cari,

Thanks for replying so soon. I connect the printer to PC
with USB cable. I have tried using another cable from my
Samsung ML1510 laser printer but it didn't help at all.
Have you heard of anything about XP Pro dun like two
printers connecting via USB port (2 different USB ports)??
I have the similar setup with Win98 and the printers were
working fine, before I upgraded to XP Pro 2 days ago. I
have tried installing M950 on its own but still no
communication between printer and PC!! Please help!!
