-XCopy???

I baought a new hard drive and want to move my old boot disk to the
new one. Yea I know, I should take the opportunity to do a clean
install but too many reasons not too at this time. In Win98 I used
Xcopy with a whole set of convoluted switches to ensure every file,
hidden or otherwise, was copied.

Anyone know how to do this in XP home?

Click on the Start button and select run. Type cmd to open a command
prompt. At the prompt type xcopy /? to get a list of switches.

Alternately, click Start and select help and search for xcopy. This
will also provide a listing of options you can use to move files in
the method you desire.
