X-FI X64 drivers avail

The Frozen Canuck

You probably already know this, visit creative labs. So far I cannot get
5.1 sound working but it's a better solution than installing the X64
version.

When I run the speaker test and click on center speaker or either rear
speaker sound comes out the front speakers.
 
Try changing the "Mode" in the "Creative Audio Console" from "Entertainment
mode" to "Game mode" -- that's what it took for me to get all 6 speakers
(5.1)working (I'm running 32 bit Vista though so ...). -Ron
 
Thanks, it worked! Now I can finally listen to DVDs and games in 5.1
