WYSIWYG html editor

Bob Adkins

I suspect Bob's working on the "looks okay in my IE" plan.

No, my web page looks ugly in IE.

It looks equally ugly on Mozilla Firebird.

I'm looking for an honest WYSIWYG HTML editor. It's a sad commentary when
the best I can find is Selida.

Speaking of access -- have you looked at it in a text browser, like
those with, say, impaired vision might use in combination with
text-to-speech capability (or those that just prefer text browsers)?
(No, I haven't looked at it that way.)

Can't help you; I use a text editor.

Snowbird Editor Download Page

Snowbird is a WYSIWYG HTML Editor. It is derived from Composer++ by
Daniel Glazman, with edits by DeltaGuy, who also packaged it in to an
executable installer. Please feel free to download this program and try
it out. It is Open Source.

Did the install work for you? I downloaded it twice & got a "Installer
corrupted or incomplete" error both times.

No and Yes!

I got the same message but used the override switch mentioned in the
error message - that installed the beast.

When it ran it complained about two missing dlls (both of which happened
to be in my Open Office installation). Copying those across allowed it
to run.

My first impression is that it doesn't seem to do a great deal more than
Mozilla Composer but I'll look a bit closer as I get time.

It's meant to be derived from Composer++....dunno what the difference is.
