WXP Updates and Restoring

Hi,

can someone tell me if you do a complete restore to clean the hard drive,
does it erase all the windows critical updates as well? Is there any way
around this? I would hate for someone to have to download all those critical
updates (2 years worth?) again.

Hi Jan,

Yes it does, and yes they will all need to be redownloaded. Wait a week or
so and download SP2 which will have all the critical updates to date in one
package. Unless, of course, you like downloading and installing multiple
small packages.
