wxp home edition

i cannot get my floppy discs to wxp home edition to load.
i am trying to reinstall wxp home edition on my
computer.it was already loaded on it when i bought it but
i think files are missing or corruoted, so i want to try
reinstalling it

I don't understand why you're trying to use floppy disks.

Simply boot from the WinXP installation CD. You'll be offered the
opportunity to delete, create, and format partitions as part of the
installation process. (You may need to re-arrange the order of boot
devices in the PC's BIOS to boot from the CD.)
