Has anyone heard of an alert about windows 2000?

If you are writing about an Emailed "notice" that you need to
install the ATTACHED update... that is a virus
Microsoft will NEVER send you an attached update
If, however, you have subscribed to a Microsoft newsletter, you
may very well receive an "alert" that tells you to go the usual
Microsoft update site
