WTH? Split database ldb problem

I just split a database, with both on the network. I realized there is some
sort of problem and I am trying to restore from a copy of the database I made
before I split (with the manager). I cannot delete the ldb file (which does
not go away when I close the database) nor the database. I delete them, they
come right back. What the heck do I do?

Anytime you open an Access database it makes a new LDB file. This is
true even if it is not a split database.

I am sorry, but I am guessing as to what your question and problem
really is. Could you maybe re-write it and maybe provide some more detail
and specific questions and details of what is happening.

Joe, thanks for the response, I didn't truly understand myself. However, it
seemed to go away and I was able to restore from backup. This splitting was
a test anyway, so I will do more research before moving forward again.
