Wrong Email Account listed for user on welcome screen

I don't know how but on the windows welcome screen my wife's user ID no
longer lists her unread messages and now lists mine. I has worked correctly
for years. When you click on the number of messages link you see my email
address. Any suggestions on how to fix?

Hi T.J,

Login to the other user account
Start Regedit.exe and navigate to the following branch:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\UnreadMail

Each sub-key represents a mail account. Choose your account and delete it.

Close Regedit.exe
