wrong default..please help

Can anyone please tell me how to change my default outlook express mail from pop3/SMTP to whatever i need..we have cable...also my default outlook express news and internet explorer web proxy are not configured,should they be and how can i do this? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!! I did a network disgnostics and these failed......i think it causes computer problems for me.....thanks
 
You may need find Internet settings and mail settings from your ISP.
each ISP has their own settings.

If you talking about settings section in outlook express.
here is example from Comcast email settings.

If you use comcast cable service, you can use this, but if you use other ISP follow your ISP's instructions.

Your cable provider should have set this up for you before leaving. If not,
check their website. BTW, Cable doesn't change OE to whatever.....it all
stays the same. Good luck!
