Wrong D- Drive Icon

Craig

I have two hard drives (C: and D:).
The icon for C-drive is correct.
But the icon for D-drive is flashdrive, which confuses me.
How can I change the falshdrive icon into the correct harddisk icon?
I am using WinXP Pro-SP2. Craig

Which Drive letter would you like it to be?
Access Administrsator Tools
Use computer management and disk management
Right click the drive you wish to change "Not a volume or system drive" and
select change drive letter and paths.

The question is not about Drive letter.
Driver letter (D) is fine but it has a wrong icon.
Said earlier, the icon for D-drive was flash drive, not hard disk.

Look for a file on your D drive named autorun.inf.
Note: You may have to go into Control Panel -> Folder Options
and change some settings on the View page to show hidden files.
If you find that file, post its contents in a response.

Nepatsfan, here you go:

[autorun]
OPEN=setupSNK.exe
ICON=\SMRTNTKY\fcw.ico
ACTION=Wireless Network Setup Wizard

YOur suggestion would be appreciated.

rename the file to autorun.old.
Reboot.
Open My Computer.

All better?
