Wrong characters when typing

I have altered my Regional and Language settings to UK
English but I still get an @ typed as a " and vice
versa. Very annoying when typing e-mail addresses. can
you help?

Wake up geeza....

You have your keyboard set to the wrong language. Goto control panel and
keyboard and change over the layout to English UK or wherever it is you're
from!!

if you read his original post you will see that he HAS got
it set as UK.
