Wrong Capacity reading fo Hard drive????

I have recently installed a 250Gb hard drive. My bios accepts it as 250Gb
but windows sees it as 128Gb.

I have downloaded every microsoft update available but the problem is still
apparent.

Any ideas???

In addition, there is a registry setting to be made. You also need SP1.

You may need to install a utility from your HDD manufacturer.

You say that you have downloaded all the updates, but do you have SP1
or SP2 on? The manufacturer patches will need either of these I
believe.
