I am using XP Pro, SP2 and have Office 2003 with Frontpage installed. I am
also using the Telstra Bigpond Toolbar which attaches to Internet Explorer
as well as an Icon in the Systray. This tool bar has several functions for
use on the net.

My problem is that if I use the Icon in the Systray to open any function,
that opens in Front Page, however if I use the Toolbar from IE then all
works OK.

I have been into Control Panel/Folder Options/File Types and there is
nothing there associated with the Bigpond Toolbar. I have uninstalled and
reinstalled this Toolbar, and also ran the repair on Office. I have also ran
scandisk and SFC / Scannow, but none of this has resolved the problem.

Does anyone have any ideas as to what I can do now please?

Hello Kelly,

Thank you for your reply, but there was no joy to be had there either. I
also contacted the Helpdesk and despite numerous suggestions and tries the
status quo remains.

I may have to try Microsoft on Monday but I am not overly optimistic there
either.

Hello Kelly,

I found that by uninstalling the Toolbar, then uninstalling Office and all
it's components, cleaning office out of the system, then reloading the
Toolbar and then reinstalling Office, updating that and then all was in
order, which is very pleasing.

As a safeguard I created a Restore Point prior to each installation and
tested to see that all was OK.

Thanks for your help, appreciated as usual.
