Wroking with PowerPoint slide?

I want to create a thumbnail of a ppt slide, import into a Word document, and
insert hyperlinks in the slide to other parts of the Word document?

I'd use File/Save As, choose PNG from the drop down box, and save the slide
as a PNG image.

Then I'd insert that into Word and add a hyperlink to it. If I had trouble
with that part, I'd ask in one of the Word newsgroups to be sure I got a
good answer.
