WrkGrp Setup .. HELP!!

How do I setup a database w/a workgroup so the database
cannot be opened but for Valid Users. Yes, I know how to
set up the shortcut, but I can still open it on the LAN
without having to log into it, Not using the shortcut.

Then you missed a step in setting up security. When done properly users
can only open the file when using the correct mdw file.

Be sure to remove acces by the "Users" group to all the
objects in your database. Everyone is a member of the
Users group so everyone will have access to it unless you
specifically remove it.
