Writing to a disc for the 2nd time

After copying a batch of pictures to a CD-R, I copied another batch to the same disc. The problem I'm having is that I cannot find the 1st batch of pictures I originally put on the disc. I know that the pictures should still exist on that disc, but can anyone tell me how I'd go about getting to them? Thanks a bunch!

With said disk in your CD drive...go to...My Computer...
Right click the icon for your CD drive and from the menu
....choose...Explore...the contents of the disk should appear.

Thanks, but it still does not show the 1st batch of pictures I burned to the disk. It shows that the space has been used, but cannot find the files. Could they be hidden, and if so, how can I get to them? Also, will it matter that the disc I used was intended for music? Is there a difference between a data disc and music disc? Thanks a bunch

Just wondering...was the first batch burned on the
same computer you are trying to view them on?
Has anything changed? Did you upgrade anything
between the two sessions?

I guess you could try a program like the one at the
following link but I'm thinking your images are
probably irretrievable.

ISO Buster

BTW, I don't think being called a music disk would
make any difference.

Here's a good NG for info about burning:

No, nothing was changed on the computer, and it was the same one. Thanks a bunch for all your help. Take care.
