write a letter to a contact

Where is the "write a letter to a contact feature in Outlook 2007". I can't
email 250kgs of metal with it.
 
How do we get it back?
Or is this another reason to go back to 2003?

You don't exactly - it's now done in reverse. You access your Contacts from
within Word. Add the Addressbook to your QAT.

Gordon, as I've reported in a few threads with no positive responses
yet, when I do as you say, word 2007 crashes, hence I was advised in a
wopr forum on word


"From searching the newsgroups I get the impression that this isn't
working dependably any more in Office 2007 - the same problem is
reported several times when people try to mail merge from Word with
Outlook contacts as data source. The suggestion there is to initiate
the merge from Outlook, but this is less attractive when you just want
to write a single letter...
