WPS File

I had a word document that was somehow converted to a WPS file. Can I and
how do I open this file?

Try this, open Word, then try opening the document from the Word File menu
as in File and then select open.

If that won't do it and it should, try the same trick in Notepad. You'll
lose any formatting but Notepad might be able to see it.

Also, note, this file is now a Works word processor file, if you have Works
installed on your system, you can open it in Works and then save it as a
Word file.
