Wpa.bak files (backup)

Where is Wpa.bak located on Windows XP home (or are they
only on XP pro)- I read youneeded to keep it in case you
ever needed to completely reinstall windows. I copied
the Wpa.dbl file to floppy (another one they said to
keep) but I don't think there is anything in it. Just
the folder. Please advise. Do I need to back these
files up and if I do, where are they?

Sharon;
They are both in the Windows\System32 directory.

The back-ups will only help if the originals get damaged or you need
to perform a Repair Installation.
They are virtually worthless for a Clean Installation.

I found a "wpaback" folder. Would this be the same as
wpa.bak? It is in C-Windows-System 32-Oobe-image

No.

Try this path | C:\WINDOWS\system32\wpa.bak and C:\WINDOWS\system32\wpa.dbl on my system they are next to each other. As stated however saving them will not help. It is not a way around activation.
