Workstation Upgarde

As a MCSD.Net developer I am faced with upgrading my workstation every 2 to 3
years.

As my workstation has many applications and configurations installed
re-installing is not an easy option.

Does XP Pro allow CPU and motherboard to be replaced with ALL other hardware
components to remain unchanged without getting the blue screen of death at
start-up

If a new motherboard is install, you will to perform a 'Repair' install of
XP.
