I had used wsname.exe to remotely rename some workstations. It worked for a
while then the computer could not log in and the computer name is blank. I
can get in through safe mode either. I was hoping that someone knows of a
shell based program that I can use to change the workstation name.

Thanks,

Peter

How can I run this if I can't log into windows?

Well - it can rename computers remotely - but I am unsure if renaming the
computer is your problem.
