Worksheet to .cvs format

I have worksheet that has email addresses in one column. I am trying to make
this list a .vvs format to import into an email program to send an email to
all my contacts. I have followed the instructions to save as .cvs format and
nothing happens. Can anyone help?

What do you mean "nothing happens"?

Does the file not get saved? What if you save the file in a different
format - does something happen then?

If the file isn't getting saved, list the steps in "the instructions"
you're following...

I open the worksheet. On the File menu I click Save AS. In the File name box
I type a new name for the worksheet. In the Save as Type list, I click the
..csv format. Then I click Save. When I go to view the new file, I see the
same worksheet. When I try to import into Outlook or AOL mail or Webmail on
Microsoft Bcentral, there is no information. Now, when I try to import it
tells me to MAP the data. I click email address and still nothing occurs.

Louis,

After you've saved your sheet as csv, open it with Notepad to see what's in
it. Set the file type to .csv so Notepad will see it. If you see the data
there, separated by commas, the Save as csv has done its job.

Try viewing the file in NotePad - if you try to reopen it in XL, XL's
parser will attempt to re-parse the data and format it accordingly.
