worksheet protection

Is this possible? I have a workbok with 4 sheets sheets 2-4 are running totals of financial data and sheet 1 is the total of that data. I want to share this with other staff members but dont want them to be able to see worksheet 1. However there are people that I do want to be able to see it. Is there anyway to do this with or without having to use passwords? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
 
in general, if a moderately sentient user has access to your
workbook, that user can access any or all of the data, sheets, or
macros in that workbook, regardless of any internal passwords you
set.

Perhaps you could make sheet1 into a separate workbook and password
protect that?
